Studio Portraits - Jordan Hines

A few years ago I put out a model call for some dance sessions, and Jordan sent me an application! We have done at least one shoot every year together since! I absolutely love photographing her, not only is she OBVIOUSLY incredibly beautiful, but has the sweetest soul and is so down to earth and easy going!

I also have been collaborating with my very talented niece Madi Hope the owner/operator of Homestead Salon & Studios. I adored this gorgeous look that Madi came up with for us! In my next post we popped in to a gorgeous new Boutique clothing shop and I had fun shooting Jordan their in all their fabulous shoes and clothes.

Ruby turns 8

My first blog post of the year, I might be a little rusty.

I try to do an individual photo shoot every year of my kids when they turn another year older. Ruby’s birthday is in January so her annual shoot is in the winter! This year we haven’t had a chance to do her shoot yet because it’s been too darn cold here! Brrrrr. I actually think the day we shot this was actually fairly cold too. We were honestly probably only outside for about 10 to 15 mins. We borrowed Grandpa’s coyote fur and out we went! Looking back I really wish I would have had a sword too, to give it even more of a Chronicles of Narnia/Game of Thrones feel!
