Styled Session - Ali's Best Friend shoot for her 13th Birthday

Hello 2020! I can’t believe we are already in the middle of February and I am finally getting to blogging my work from last year!

On a whim when my oldest daughter had her best friends over for her 13th Birthday, I said, “let’s do a little best friends photo shoot!” So they went into my studio closet and each found a dress and accessories. We did some in the studio first, but because it was SO nice out we headed outside for a few more. Ali’s Birthday is March 18th, so year to year the weather is always different. I loved the outdoor setting for this shoot, the neutral greys and brown are the perfect background to make the subject pop! I would love to do more shoots like this in the future and love the idea of a best friends shoot!

Of course my two little girls had to get in on a few shots of themselves as well!

Styled Session - Vintage Circus with my Girls

This was an idea that I had been thinking on for quite a long time, I wanted to do quite a bit more with an outdoor set and props but I ran out of time last fall! I have been so inspired by recent movies like The Greatest Showman and Dumbo.

This was another collaboration with Homestead Salon & Studios! Madi did such a phenomenal job of their hair and makeup, so so creative and exactly the looks I was going for!

The girls are all wearing dresses from Tutu du Monde, both the jackets are from Zara.
