Sweet light Collective in Texas - Day 1, Part 1

What better way to start my year off than to win a seat to one of Skye Hardwick's Sweetlight Collective Workshops. I had a attended a Sweetlight Workshop In Kentucky a couple years ago https://kristinhickman.squarespace.com/blog/2016/3/23/sweetlight-collective-in-kentucky-by-work-of-heart-photography-day-1. https://kristinhickman.squarespace.com/blog/2016/3/24/sweetlight-collective-in-kentucky-day-2. The experience was amazing and I could hardly believe I would be getting a second opportunity to learn from Skye. And to add to the excitement the workshop would be held at The Prairie by Rachel Ashwell http://www.theprairiebyrachelashwell.com. With one night lodging, in the most beautiful, luxurious bed I have ever slept in! The Prairie is so beautiful, it is hard to describe, somewhere that you HAVE to experience for yourself! 

But one of the best parts of attending these workshops is meeting the other talented attendees, a very talented and adorable clothing designer, the beautiful models and their wonderful Mamas, and of course getting to hang with Skye and Gary! Oh and I can't forget the FOOD, seriously SO delish! 

This trip and workshop filled my soul to the brim!

Mini Session - Alizay wearing Tutu Du Monde

Another gorgeous dress I've added to my collection for client use! Alizay had so much fun modelling this for me! Amazingly this session was shot in November, the snow we got in October mad melted and we had a gorgeous warm evening for this quick shoot!

Mini Session - Ruby wearing Joyfolie

I had bought Ruby this beautiful Joyfolie dress and had been waiting for an opportunity to photograph her in it! This session was short and sweet, I think we were only outside for 20 mins, thank goodness she was cooperative! 

This is one of the dresses I have available for my clients to wear for shoots. If you can picture your little sweetie in it let me know! I also custom made this crown for the shoot, I love creating and finding props for a shoot. Please let me know if you have a specific vision in mind for your session, I love to get creative!
